Paul Salisbury

CEO

Paul Salisbury is the operational brains behind the organization focused on evaluating, transitioning, and optimizing acquisitions.

Previously, Paul operated as a Senior Vice President for Rackspace, leading a team of 300 employees that delivered “Fanatical Support” to over 55,000 North American Hybrid and Cloud customers. Paul’s organization served 70% of the Fortune 100 delivering superior technical expertise and a world class customer experience. Paul left Rackspace in May of 2017 to pursue entrepreneurial interests and co-founded Dura Software in 2018.

Prior to joining Rackspace, Paul served as Professional Services Regional GM at Dell Computer Corporation where he oversaw the delivery of consulting services engagements for the Eastern United States. Paul’s 25+ year career in technology also includes implementing large-scale ERP solutions at Ernst and Young Consulting in the United States and abroad and leading Manufacturing Process Controls efforts for Procter and Gamble.

Paul holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of Texas. Originally from Northern California, Paul has been in Texas now for more than 20 years and became a San Antonio resident in 2011. Paul loves the Texas outdoors and in his free time you can find him on the golf course or at the beach with his wife and two daughters

Carlos Navarrete

Operations Manager

Carlos Navarrete leads the strategy of the company to extend its footprint into Latin America and bring the culture, vision, and best practices at each of the businesses that Dura operates.                        

Prior to Dura, Carlos served as a Customer Success Manager for Moki, the first company acquired by Dura back in 2018. Carlos also worked as an Enterprise Account Manager at Rackspace, where he successfully helped the businesses serving the top Latin American customers, who together held $12mm of annual revenue, kept churn under 0.5% and maintained more than 30% growth YoY.

Previously, Carlos spent almost two decades working for the main information technology companies including IBM, Hewlett Packard, and EDS, gaining experience in IT management, digital transformation, and business administration.

Carlos is a proud Mexican living in the US and his formula for success is to bring the best of both cultures. Carlos’ mantra is “You don’t know who you really are until you leave the place, you’re from”. He speaks fluent Spanish and English and loves spending time with his family and traveling to new places all over the world.

Brad Ward

VP of Operations

Brad Ward oversees company acquisition and transition, security/compliance, IT, nearshore operations, shared services, and centers of excellence. Brad also serves as the Fractional CEO for Moki. Brad joined Dura Software in September 2019. Previously at Dura Software, Brad served as the Chief Revenue Officer for Nordic IT and the VP of Sales and Marketing for Moki. Prior to Dura, Brad operated as a Strategic Account Director at Rackspace, leading a cross functional team that delivered “Fanatical Support” to the largest and most complex customers in the portfolio. Brad began at Rackspace as an Account Manager and spent the majority of time in service as a leader across multiple departments. Brad left Rackspace in March of 2018 to deploy with the Texas Army National Guard to the Horn of Africa in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He has also held roles at Symantec and Orion Talent.

Prior to Rackspace and Dura, Brad served in the US Army as an Infantry Officer for 6 years and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Brad continues his service today as a Major in the Texas Army National Guard.

Brad holds a BA in Government and an MA in Communication from Angelo State University. Brad is a native Texan from Midland/Odessa. Brad enjoys spending time on the lake, golfing, and traveling with his wife, Kayla, and two boys.

Rene Cortes

René Cortés is the Coordinator of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable at Dura Software.

Before joining Dura, René was an Accounts Payable Leader for Cinépolis, a Mexican movie theater chain considered as the largest chain in Latin America and one of the largest in the world.

René was born and raised in Morelia, Michoacán in México and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration at Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia.

He can be found in his room reading a book, listening to his favorite music or playing the guitar as a hobby in his free time. He also loves hanging out with his friends.

Another thing you should know about him is that he is trilingual, knowing how to speak Spanish (native language), English and Portuguese.

Cally Kobza

Senior Manager of Sales & Marketing

Cally Kobza is the Manager of Sales and Marketing Operations at Dura Software. She works in various CRM and marketing platforms to help generate more leads, create brand awareness and streamline processes through automation.

Previously, Cally worked as Sales and Marketing Agencies, helping them scale. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with degrees in Journalism, Marketing and Advertising and French. Cally is from the Milwaukee area, but loves to travel to other states and countries. She is also a huge Wisconsin sports fan.

Rodrigo Soto Larrain

Rodrigo evaluates acquisition opportunities for Dura Software and leads the Latin American M&A practice.

Originally from Chile, Rodrigo also lived in Hong Kong, United States, Switzerland and Brazil. His areas of expertise include corporate finance, business development, and project management. Before joining Dura, he held strategic roles at large multinational companies, such as Zurich Insurance, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and Electrolux.

He graduated from HKUST Business School with a Bachelor of Business Administration and recently completed an MBA at COPPEAD in Rio de Janeiro, where he was chosen for an exchange semester at CEIBS (China Europe International Business School). Rodrigo cares about social wellbeing and inclusion. He co-chaired his MBA class's diversity committee.

Jerry Thompson

Director of IT

Jerry Thompson is responsible for ensuring that the use and support of technology, throughout the organization, aligns with the needs of the business.

A USAF veteran of multiple deployments, his experience includes managing capital projects, large technical deployments and construction jobs for clients such as the Army Corps of Engineers, BNSF and Georgia Pacific. Jerry was the Vice President at Advanced American Construction in Portland, Oregon when he and his wife moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 2018.

He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, fishing, skydiving, SCUBA diving, boating and driving and restoring classic cars and motorcycles.

Dale Young

Chief People Officer

As Dura's Chief People Officer, Dale is passionate about inspiring and enabling every team member to experience the Soul of Dura everyday.  He leads the People Team, which consists of the Talent Development; Total Rewards; People Operations; Talent Acquisition; and Culture & Engagement centers of excellence in support of Dura's high growth strategy.  

Previously, Dale spent 23 years at Dell Services which was acquired by NTT Data Services in 2016.  He served as Vice President and Lead HR Business Partner for a variety of infrastructure and digital services organizations.  In his last role at NTT Data, Dale led the HR team in the Consulting & Digital Transformation Services business unit.  Integrating 11 acquisitions in just 3 years, this business unit grew headcount and revenue 10X and 6X respectively, reaching 8,400 team members and $850M in annual revenue by the end of its third year.

Prior to Dell/NTT Data, Dale spent 12 years at YRC (Formerly Yellow Freight System) in a variety of operations management and HR leadership roles.  In his last assignment with Yellow, Dale served as Group HR Manager for the Western Business Group located in Phoenix, AZ.  Dale also served 4 years as a Chemical Corps officer in the US Army.  He holds a BS in Accounting from Penn State and a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management and Development from Chapman University.

Outside of work, when Dale's not tending to the livestock on his small ranch, he likes to spend time with his wife visiting their two daughters in Dallas and New York.  He also is involved with several activities that support the homeless and veterans.

Claudia is the Salesforce Administrator at Dura Software. She loves playing around with data and finding new things to learn about.

Prior to Dura, she performed as a Systems Admin for the Sales Operations team at EssilorLuxottica with 3+ years of experience in Salesforce. In her background you’ll also find experience in accounts receivable, marketing (lead generation), logistics and customer service. 

She was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, where she earned her Bachelor in Business Administration. 

In her free time, you will find Claudia driving her kids around to basketball games or looking for new projects to start at home with her husband.

Jacob Medina

Project Manager

Jacob Medina is a Project Manager and focuses his efforts on Shared Services at Dura Software. In his role he is maintaining, supporting, and consolidating software platforms and specific product areas.

Prior to Dura, Jacob attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in History. He brings 20+ years of business and management experiences in the retail and IT industries with an emphasis on strategic planning, process management, and vendor relations.

Jacob was raised in San Antonio and had the opportunity to live in the Dominican Republic and Belize. While there he gained a wealth of life experience. You will typically find him spending time with his wonderful wife and four young children. He loves to travel and has an affinity for genealogy.

Data Analyst

Will is the Operations Analyst for the Acquisition Team at Dura Software. He combs through large amounts of data on acquisition targets to help paint the larger picture of how a company operates and why they do what they do. An enthusiastic learner, Will brings a blended skillset centered on leadership, hard work, and business acumen. Always hungry for a challenge and a learning experience, Will likes to push his body, mind, and emotional health through cycling, reading, and learning new skills.  Currently, he is learning, and very bad at, chess.

Previously, Will worked as a Technical Director, helping his previous company scale in physical size and production quality. He spends his weekends traveling, feeding his caffeine addiction, going on long bike rides, and spending time with his friends.

Prior to her position at Dura Software, Everleigh has worked in law firms as well as in a sales and marketing agency. She graduated from SUNY Fredonia majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Political Science. 

Everleigh is from the Buffalo, New York area and loves to travel and attend concerts. She is a music lover and caffeine enthusiast.

Jacob is a Financial Analyst, who oversees FP&A planning, due diligence, and data processing. 

Originally, Jacob is from Houston. However, he has spent 6 years abroad, living in Indonesia. Jacob loves traveling. His favorite destination was Tokyo, Japan, and he plans on revisiting in the summer. 

Jacob attended Trinity University, where he earned his B.S. in Mathematical Finance. He is furthering his education by studying for the CFA Level 1 Exam. Outside of work, you can find Jacob at the gym. Jacob wants to push himself physically and mentally to be the best person he can be.

Matthew Alles

Security GRC Analyst

Matthew is the Security GRC Analyst at Dura Software. He works with the Dura Software portfolio companies to ensure they meet security and compliance requirements, manages security awareness training, and assists with security product implementation and management. 

Previously, Matthew worked as a Support Technician for DBTech for 12+ years. During this time, he gained experience with IT systems and support, customer relations, and healthcare processes and regulations.

Matthew graduated from Keller Graduate School of Management with an MBA in Information Security. He also holds the Certified in Cybersecurity certification from ISC2 and is a member of InfraGard. Matthew is from Piscataway, New Jersey, and enjoys spending his free time with friends and family, learning new skills, golfing, and reading.

Zach is responsible for deal generation efforts as well as evaluating acquisition opportunities at Dura Software. He is passionate about using M&A to help grow organizations inorganically while providing the exit a founder has always dreamed of. 

After assisting in over 100 acquisitions at an industry leading veterinary roll-up, Zach was drawn to Dura's "people-first" value proposition. Finding and executing on opportunities that benefit every party involved is what excites him the most about his position. 

Originally from St. Louis, Zach now works out of Los Angeles where he enjoys spending time surfing, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.

Originally from the DC Area, Conor moved to San Antonio in late 2018 as a Venture for America Fellow. Prior to the Fellowship and joining the team at Dura, he worked in business development, marketing, and operations at a number of startups and consulting organizations.

Conor is a graduate of Boston College with degrees in Finance and Economics. Now that he lives in Texas, he cannot conceive of a reason people would choose to live somewhere without palm trees.

Amrith Krushnakumaar

Chief of Staff

Amrith has over 15 years of experience sourcing, investing in and monitoring investments, as well as working in strategy focused roles. Most recently, he worked with the Capital Solutions team at CDPQ, a Canadian Pension Plan with over C$300 billion in assets under management. In this role, Amrith evaluated nontraditional, privately negotiated investment opportunities (hybrid of Private Credit and Private Equity) primarily in North America and Europe. He also worked closely with senior management to help CDPQ expand into selected emerging markets and sectors.

Prior to joining CDPQ, Amrith worked for nearly six years at 57 Stars, an emerging markets focused private equity fund of funds. At 57 Stars, he evaluated, diligenced and executed primary and secondary investments in funds and co-investments across various emerging markets, including Colombia, Mexico, Turkey, Eastern Europe, India and Southeast Asia.

Amrith started his career at Deutsche Bank in New York where he was an investment banking analyst for the Financial Institutions Group covering insurance and specialty finance. He earned his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors. Amrith also holds a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Economics and Computer Science from Duke University. He is a CFA charterholder.

Before Joining Dura, Melissa started her professional career as an external Auditor at one of the Big 4 accounting firms.

Amanda Gomez joined Dura as Digital Marketing Specialist. She has a background in digital marketing, graphic design and multimedia production. She graduated from St. Edward’s University with a business degree in Digital Media Management. Prior to joining Dura, she was the multimedia specialist at Comal Independent School District, where she produced videos and a podcast for the district and its 32 campuses.

Amanda lives in New Braunfels with her husband and two cats. She loves traveling to new places; in every new city she visits, she finds a local bookstore to support. She is a member of a bowing team in a local nine-pin bowling club and, in her free time, can always be found with her nose in a book.

Quentin is an accomplished IT professional, currently holding the position of IT Manager at Dura Software. With a background as the former IT Manager at HEALth-WorX Medical Centers in South Africa, Quentin has over a decade of experience in providing crucial IT support to medical professionals and medical office staff. During his tenure at HEALth-WorX, he also served as the IT Director of Health-Soft e-prescribing, where he played a key role in the development of electronic medical prescription software tailored for healthcare professionals.

During his 10-year journey as the IT Manager at HEALth-WorX, Quentin's ability to bridge the gap between technology and operations led him to take on additional responsibilities as the Operations Manager, further demonstrating his versatility and capacity to excel in various roles.

In 2022, Quentin, together with his wife and three children, embarked on an exciting new chapter in their lives by immigrating to the United States. Their decision was fueled by the pursuit of fresh opportunities and personal growth.

Beyond his professional achievements, Quentin nurtures a strong passion for running and outdoor exploration. He cherishes spending quality time with his family, enjoying activities like running and hiking.

Director, Technical Accounting

Khusbu is a passionate accountant who lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband and two daughters. She graduated with honors in Accounting and Finance from George Mason University. Upon graduation, she joined PwC as an external auditor and earned her Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) license. Most recently, Khusbu led the external reporting and technical accounting team at Blue Yonder (formerly JDA).  


Khusbu is skilled in all aspects of the accounting cycle, from preparing and analyzing financial statements to implementing and managing compliance with accounting standards. She strives to find efficiencies and effectiveness in her work.


In her free time, Khusbu enjoys painting with her kids, baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Amy leads the tax practice for Dura Software.  Amy joined Dura in 2023.  She has over 19 years of tax experience including public accounting, industry, and government.  She has broad experience in tax controversy, domestic federal tax compliance, large consolidated corporate groups, multinational corporations, and tax technology.  


In her free time Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and their five children along with quilting, crocheting and cross-stitching.


Amy holds a Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters of Science from Texas A&M University.  She is also a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.

Kenelle (Penny) Estrada

Risk and Insurance Analyst

Kanelle Estrada began her career in the insurance industry in January of 2010. After years adjusting claims, she advanced her career in management placing herself in a position to mentor, train, and educate employee in their roles and career growth.


Kanelle Estrada began her career in the insurance industry in January of 2010 with United States Automobile Association (USAA), as a first notice of loss claims adjuster taking first party claims. After spending over 2 years in this role and excelling in my work performance, Kanelle was able to become the department subject matter expert (SME). Kanelle then transitioned over to USAA Banking for two years to best fit her schedule for schooling while pursuing her graduate degree(s). After spending a few years in banking, Kanelle then re-entered into the claims world during her employment with The Hartford Insurance in 2015, where she was a Physical Damage Operations Specialist for two and half years. She handled recreation claims, commercial, first and third party liability claims.


Kanelle accepted an offer with a TPA, All Cat Claims Service, where handling catastrophic claims for USAA. After taking the property claims adjuster position, she immediately promoted to the Claims Manager role after two months of repeated successful file reviews and knowledge of claims handling exceed management standards. Kanelle created the quality assurance process with AllCat to align with the client’s needs and level of standard operating procedures (SOP). During her employment at AllCat, Kanelle managed 56 employees in two different locations. Kanelle maintains consistent quality scores according to the client’s expectations, as well as the expectations she created for AllCat.


After three years with AllCat, Kanelle joined the City of San Antonio Office of Risk Management. In this role, she handled municipality claims that ranged from third party liability, employee discrimination, wrongful death, wrongful termination, police brutality, and breach of contract to name a few. In this role she was moved up the ranks to join the management team. She led a team of four claims adjusters, one senior adjuster, as well as two claims assistants daily. Kanelle assisted the City Attorney’s with mediations on the litigated claims to work towards reasonable settlement(s).


Kanelle recently joined CCMIS as a Multi-line Claims Supervisor Technical, and look forward to a promising and rewarding career.


Kanelle graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2013 with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a minor in Business management.  Kanelle continued her education with the University of the Incarnate Word pursuing my Master’s degrees in Business Administration, as well as, Organizational Development.

I was responsible for real-time threat monitoring and delivered high-stakes briefings to every level, from pilots, and security forces to top U.S. government officials, including the Vice President and the Secretary of Defense. After my time working in intelligence, to ensure a better work-life balance, I decided to finish my degree and get into Cyber Security. My hobbies include reading (strictly fantasy), gaming, and riding my motorcycle.

I have a passion for designing and implementing data driven solutions to drive business growth and enhance decision making processes.

I'm a massive soccer fan and follow American and European leagues. I also enjoy tennis, rock climbing and golf (though I tend to limit myself to the driving range).

Katrina Davis, Dura Software's Director of Sales Enablement, is a leader in sales, management, and global sales operations, with over 15 years of experience in the software and technology industry. Katrina is responsible for optimizing the Dura CRM platform, driving sales effectiveness, training, streamlining processes, and empowering sales teams.

Throughout her career, Katrina has held roles in Sales Leadership/Management and Operations at notable companies such as Computer Associates (CA), KEMP Technologies, and Perspectium. Previously at Dura Software, Katrina served as the Director of Global Operations for 6Connex and Revegy and is recognized for her strategic planning, problem-solving, and cross-functional team leadership.

Katrina holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with a leadership emphasis from Grand Canyon University. Katrina resides in Virginia and Long Island, NY, enjoying the best of the mountains and beaches.

Dmitry was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where his early interests in classical music, chess and becoming a classical pianist took a turn when he moved to Australia at 11. There, he developed a passion for computers and soccer. In high school, he gravitated towards economics and history, leading to a Bachelor of Commerce degree in university.


Dmitry studied and interned globally in London and Hong Kong before starting his career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. A few years later, he discovered software private equity, which sparked his interest and shaped his career. Having moved to United States, Dmitry is excited to continue building his career in the software industry.


Outside work, Dmitry enjoys music, literature, yoga, and participating in engaging conversations.

Justin is the Chief Executive Officer of Fenestrae and dbtech. He is directly responsible for leading all strategic and business operations for both companies. Broadly, he leads Dura’s Healthcare and Communications Portfolio which includes the aforementioned two companies, Nordic IT, Lane, Vertex, and SecureVideo.

Previously Justin operated as the CEO of two other Dura companies; Nordic IT from 2019-2022 and Lane from 2020-2021. These companies are now led by two leaders promoted into CEO roles, Martin Morup and Liz Maya, respectively.

Prior to joining Dura, Justin operated as the Vice President of Customer Success for Rackspace, leading a team of 250 employees supporting customers across multiple dedicated and cloud server product lines. Serving a base of customers ranging from small-medium businesses to the largest enterprises, Justin’s teams repeatedly delivered the highest levels of customer satisfaction and customer retention within the company. His passion for building a great culture and developing people has allowed him to consistently create high performing and highly engaged teams over the years.

Justin holds a B.A. in American History from Washington and Lee University and an MAA in Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word. Originally from New York, Justin moved to San Antonio in 2001. He and his wife, Kim, have two young daughters and in their free time enjoy spending time at the beach with family.

Chris Williams is a veteran of the telecommunications industry with more than 25 years of experience, primarily focused on Customer Experience and Unified Communications solutions. Chris has led domestic as well as international sales and marketing teams catering to all market segments including Small/Mid-Sized Business (SMB) and Enterprise customers. His focus on providing Cloud, SaaS and Managed Services solutions has benefited customers in Healthcare, Higher Education, and across several other industries.

As Chief Executive Officer at DVSAnalytics, Chris is responsible for establishing strategic goals, creating long-term organizational plans, and leading business operations. With his sales expertise and passion for developing successful, high-energy teams, Chris fosters a collaborative culture to provide exceptional products and services to customers.

Prior to DVSAnalytics, Chris was responsible for sales strategy and business development, reaching year over year growth for sales targets. He has served as Director of Sales at ConvergeOne, Senior VP of Sales at Evolphin Software and 2Wire/Pace, and VP of Sales at Avaya. Liz is an experienced executive with a demonstrated history of working in fast-paced growth environments.  She is passionate about developing a world class culture, leading strong operational and strategic leaders who are customer focused.  She has extensive experience influencing the execution of strategy, inspiring operational excellence, developing talent, and improving employee engagement to exceed an organization's objectives.

Previously, Liz served as Vice President of Operations at Lane.  Before joining Lane Liz served as Chief Operating Officer, Codeup where she facilitated a foundation of growth and expansion into cities across Texas.  Prior to Codeup, Liz spent 14 years at Rackspace where she held various leadership positions.  She was responsible for 50,000 customers and led over 200 customer fanatics.  Liz graduated with a BBA, from the University of Texas-San Antonio.  Her greatest passion when not leading Lane is her family.  On most weekends and weeknights, you can find Liz and her husband cheering on their daughters at softball games, track, or cross-country events.

Martin Hvass Mørup

Martin studied Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen and Software Development at the IT University of Copenhagen. He has been working with IT in the maritime industry for the last 18 years, and he most recently served as the Head of IT at J. Lauritzen A/S. Martin’s strong educational background and extensive experience have provided a solid knowledge base on building and improving the software.

Martin was drawn to work at Nordic IT based on his previous experience with our exciting product, and the innovative team behind it. Martin’s favorite reMARK feature, and the one that he finds himself utilizing most often, is the ability to apply rules to incoming emails. With reMARK, Martin can be more efficient and organized in his inbox. 

When Martin is not building software, you can find him flying hot air balloons! Flying hot air balloons gives Martin the opportunity to meet and spend time with other people, challenge himself, enjoy nature, and travel to many beautiful places. 

Martin has even won 7 Danish and 1 Nordic championship for hot air balloons.

Brad Ward

Brad Ward oversees company acquisition and transition, security/compliance, IT, nearshore operations, shared services, and centers of excellence. Brad also serves as the Fractional CEO for Moki. Brad joined Dura Software in September 2019. Previously at Dura Software, Brad served as the Chief Revenue Officer for Nordic IT and the VP of Sales and Marketing for Moki. Prior to Dura, Brad operated as a Strategic Account Director at Rackspace, leading a cross functional team that delivered “Fanatical Support” to the largest and most complex customers in the portfolio. Brad began at Rackspace as an Account Manager and spent the majority of time in service as a leader across multiple departments. Brad left Rackspace in March of 2018 to deploy with the Texas Army National Guard to the Horn of Africa in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He has also held roles at Symantec and Orion Talent.

Prior to Rackspace and Dura, Brad served in the US Army as an Infantry Officer for 6 years and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Brad continues his service today as a Major in the Texas Army National Guard.

Brad holds a BA in Government and an MA in Communication from Angelo State University. Brad is a native Texan from Midland/Odessa. Brad enjoys spending time on the lake, golfing, and traveling with his wife, Kayla, and two boys.

Ruben Castano is the Chief Executive Officer at 6Connex and Revegy. He is responsible for leading all strategic and business operations at both companies. Broadly, he leads a group of Dura’s Portfolio which includes the aforementioned two companies, DVSAnalytics and Moki.

Previously, Ruben operated as Chief Revenue Officer for Blue Software LLC., a Danaher Company, leading a global team serving 100,000+ users, 12,000+ brands and 5,000+ companies worldwide.  Ruben’s organization helped transform a go to market strategy that drove disruption in an industry delivering significant high velocity revenue growth of ACV with a 440% increase over a two-year period.

Prior to joining Blue Software, Ruben served as Vice President and Managing Director, Americas at 1WorldSync, a Battery Ventures Company. In the 13+ years at 1WorldSync serving more than 17,000 customers across 54 countries, Ruben led teams turning a previously flat level performing organization to double-digit percentage growth results year over year.

Ruben holds a BBA in Management from the University of Texas, San Antonio. Ruben has lived in Texas his entire life calling San Antonio home since 1990. He and his wife Belinda have two daughters and in his free time you can find him enjoying the Texas outdoors (golf, hunting, fishing) or hosting a BBQ.

He started his career as an engineer with a Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer certificate, where he was awarded two patents.

Dan Langhofer

Dan grew up in Wichita, Kansas and attended Wichita State and Fort Hays State Universities. His career started as a contract software developer in the legal, travel, and automotive detail space. In 1992, Dan took a software engineer position for a large trucking company in Springfield, Missouri. One of his initial assignments was to rollout a previously purchased document management product called Paperwise. Over the four-year run, the team took the entire company paperless and fully integrated the solution to their AS/400 management system.

In 1996, Bell & Howell acquired Paperwise and Dan was recruited to oversee the product development strategy. During the next few years, the team successfully grew the transportation installation base. In 2000, Dan had the opportunity to acquire the assets of Paperwise and moved the company to Springfield, Missouri.

Dan is married to his wife, Shelley. The couple have one son, Hunter, who is married to his wife, Katie. Dan's two granddaughters, Marin and Greer, are the center of his universe. He takes every opportunity to make memories with them.

Dan is generally a curious person and likes to explore and learn new things. This would include, being an instrument-rated airplane pilot, breeding foundation-bred quarter horses, designing custom electronic circuits, designing projects on his CNC machine, playing guitar and piano, and most recently building acoustic guitars.

Bohrer has consistently improved sales processes, operations, and commercial business strategies with global customers. Jon as worked with our other companies 6Connex and Revegy as a Senior Vice President of Operations. In addition to leading commercial operations at Esko, 1WorldSync, and Filtration Group, Bohrer played critical roles on the transition teams following acquisition. Early in his career, Bohrer co-founded a venture-funded internet start-up, which gave him great perspective and experience in business strategy and processes.

Paul Salisbury is the operational brains behind the organization focused on evaluating, transitioning, and optimizing acquisitions.

Previously, Paul operated as a Senior Vice President for Rackspace, leading a team of 300 employees that delivered “Fanatical Support” to over 55,000 North American Hybrid and Cloud customers. Paul’s organization served 70% of the Fortune 100 delivering superior technical expertise and a world class customer experience. Paul left Rackspace in May of 2017 to pursue entrepreneurial interests and co-founded Dura Software in 2018.

Prior to joining Rackspace, Paul served as Professional Services Regional GM at Dell Computer Corporation where he oversaw the delivery of consulting services engagements for the Eastern United States. Paul’s 25+ year career in technology also includes implementing large-scale ERP solutions at Ernst and Young Consulting in the United States and abroad and leading Manufacturing Process Controls efforts for Procter and Gamble.

Paul holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of Texas. Originally from Northern California, Paul has been in Texas now for more than 20 years and became a San Antonio resident in 2011. Michael Girdley

Chairman

Michael Girdley is the Chairman of the Board and head of strategy at Dura Software. Michael manages the firm’s strategic initiatives including acquisition strategy and growth planning/execution. He also adds technical expertise to Dura’s business operations.

Previously, Michael was Managing Director of the Geekdom Fund, a seed-stage tech venture capital fund with $24 million under management that has invested in over 50 high-growth tech companies.

Michael has also co-founded several tech-related companies and nonprofits: Codeup, Alamo Angels, and the RealCo Accelerator.  Prior to diving into San Antonio’s tech sector, Michael was CEO of Alamo Fireworks, the largest retailer of consumer fireworks in Texas. Under his leadership, the family business transitioned from 3rd to 4th generation leadership and grew by over 50%.

Academically, Michael’s background is rooted in technology. He received a BS in Computer Science from Lafayette College. Michael began his career in San Francisco, where he held engineering and marketing roles at RSA Security and BEA WebLogic, where, at age 25, he was the lead product manager for a $300mm business.

Michael serves on the boards of Alamo Angels, Codeup, RealCo Micro VC, Prospectify, and Alamo Fireworks. In 2015, the San Antonio Business Journal named Michael “Man of the Year”.  Michael has also authored several books on computer programming which have been translated into four languages.

Matt Morris

Matt Morris founded Hampton River Partners, LLC in 2018 with support from several Bay Area entrepreneurs and families. Previously, Matt was a Senior Analyst at Pelorus Jack Capital (“PJC”), a San Francisco-based investment partnership.  Prior to PJC, Matt was a founding team member of Challen Asset Management (“CAM”). Matt opened the firm’s Menlo Park, CA office and was responsible for driving primary research on individual direct investments, as well as funds.  Previous to CAM, Matt was an Investment Manager at Northgate Capital (“NC”), a multi-billion dollar alternative asset management firm.  Matt also had valuable early experience at CB Richard Ellis, DivcoWest and Payden & Rygel.  

Matt earned an MBA with a Finance emphasis from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.  Matt lives in Austin, TX with his wife and three children.

Bianca Martinez Rhodes

Bianca Martinez Rhodes is the President of Knight Areospace Medical Systems, LLC, which designs and manufactures specialized aerospace products that maximize the utilization of cargo aircraft.   

Bianca began her career as a Commercial Banker for National Bank of Commerce, the second largest bank in San Antonio.  After six years, she left to work for one of her clients, TexCom Management Services, a computer leasing company.  She helped the Company consolidate a 34 bank group into one which positioned the company to be sold to Intelogic Trace, (NYSE:IT), for which she became the Chief Financial Officer.  

After Intelogic Trace, she joined Kinetic Concepts Inc. (NASDQ: KNCI) whom she had helped to take public a few years earlier.  As its CFO, she engineered a turnaround which more than quadrupled the company’s valuation and enabled its private offering just three years later.  

After KCI’s successful private sale and wanting to focus more on her three young children, she started consulting for a number of private enterprises, specializing in financial and operating issues.  She has also managed her family’s asset portfolio consisting of several apartment complexes, single family homes, and various other real estate ventures.  Rhodes has successfully raised capital, structured buyouts, and advised dozens of companies, primarily in the health care sector.  

Her career includes numerous voluntary positions especially targeted to women’s real choices including the founding of Any Woman Can, and various civic board positions with organizations such as AirLife San Antonio, Junior Achievement of San Antonio, Big Brothers and Sisters of San Antonio, Lighthouse for the Blind, and the San Antonio Greater Chamber of Commerce.

Bianca graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Finance. Bianca has been married to Jim, an investment professional with Wells Fargo for more than 32 years and has three children and two grandchildren.  Besides her family, her passions include reading, God, and the mountains of Colorado.

Alex Rozek is Co-CEO of the Boston Omaha Corporation. He began managing Boston Omaha (NYSE:BOC) in 2015 and over the past six years have deployed more than $460 million in capital on over 65 deals in a variety of sectors, including advertising, insurance, broadband, banking, homebuilding, and real estate. Alex also served as Managing Partner at the Boulderado Group.
